tirto.id - Setelah melalui masa-masa sengsara untuk memperingati hari-hari terakhir kehidupan Yesus Kristus, umat Kristiani di seluruh dunia akan merayakan Jumat Agung, yang jatuh pada 7 April 2023.
Bagi umat Kristen dan Katolik, Jumat Agung adalah rangkaian dalam perayaan Paskah. Berdasarkan tradisi agama Katolik, ada istilah Trihari Suci Paskah, yakni Kamis Putih, Jumat Agung, dan Paskah.
Secara garis besar, Jumat Agung adalah hari di mana umat Katolik memperingati penyaliban Yesus Kristus.
