Asesmen Madrasah (AM) merupakan salah satu dari tiga syarat kelulusan siswa madrasah berbagai tingkat. Pelaksanaan AM ditujukan dalam rangka mengukur pencapaian standar kompetensi lulusan pada satuan pendidikan madrasah.
Dilansir dari berkas SOP AM, Asesmen Madrasah adalah penilaian sumatif yang dilaksanakan pada akhir jenjang pendidikan madrasah untuk mengukur capaian kompetensi peserta didik sesuai Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) yang telah ditetapkan. Kegiatan AM meliputi asesmen formatif dan asesmen sumatif.
Asesmen formatif adalah penilaian yang dilakukan untuk melihat perkembangan dan kemajuan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Sementara itu, asesmen sumatif adalah penilaian hasil belajar untuk mengukur capaian kompetensi peserta didik. Asesmen sumatif dilaksanakan pada akhir pembelajaran dalam kurun waktu tertentu, semester dan atau akhir jenjang pendidikan.
Adapun Asesmen Madrasah termasuk dalam jenis asesmen sumatif. AM meliputi seluruh mata pelajaran yang diajarkan pada kelas akhir satuan pendidikan, baik kelompok mata pelajaran wajib maupun lokal. AM diikuti oleh siswa akhir jenjang pendidikan MI, MTs, MA, MAK.
Asesmen Madrasah tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama atau MTs mulai diadakan 10 April hingga 20 Mei 2023. Rentang waktu pelaksanaan AM ini tertera dalam Pengantar SOP AM Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.
Rentang Waktu dan Persyaratan AM MTs 2023
Berkaitan dengan waktu pelaksanaan, Kemenag hanya memberikan ancangan berupa waktu. Adapun detail waktu terkait pelaksanaan AM ditentukan oleh masing-masing madrasah penyelenggara AM dengan memperhatikan hal-hal berikut:
1. Ketuntasan kurikulum
2. Kalender pendidikan pada masing-masing madrasah
3. Hari libur nasional atau keagamaan
4. Rentang waktu pelaksanaan AM untuk MTs, yakni 10 April hingga 20 Mei 2023
Persyaratan Peserta Asesmen Madrasah MTs
Melansir dari berkas Pengantar SOP AM Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023, berikut adalah persyaratan peserta AM MTs:
a. Peserta didik terdaftar di kelas akhir pada MTs.
b. Memiliki laporan penilaian hasil belajar lengkap mulai kelas 7 (tujuh) sampai dengan kelas 9 (sembilan) semester ganjil.
c. Memiliki laporan penilaian hasil belajar lengkap mulai semester 1 (satu) sampai dengan semester 5 (lima) untuk MTs penyelenggara sistem kredit semester (SKS).
d. Peserta terdata pada aplikasi pangkalan data ujian madrasah (PDUM).
Contoh Soal Asesmen Madrasah MTs 2023 Bahasa Inggris
Mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris termasuk mata pelajaran yang diajarkan pada siswa kelas 9 MTs. Oleh karena itu, bahasa Inggris juga akan menjadi salah satu materi yang diujikan dalam AM.
Proses belajar dalam rangka persiapan AM dapat diupayakan dengan cara latihan soal. Siswa dapat belajar dari deretan soal bahasa Inggris AM tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
