tirto.id - IU merilis video musik untuk lagu "Epilogue" pada 15 April pukul tengah malam waktu Korea Selatan (KST). "Epilogue" adalah lagu terakhir di album terbaru IU "LILAC".
Berbeda dengan judul ganda lagu "LILAC" dan "Coin", "Epilogue" adalah lagu B-side yang lebih tenang dan lembut yang menonjolkan sisi sentimental IU sebagai penyanyi, demikian dikutip dari Soompi.
Penyanyi yang mempunyai nama lengkap Lee Ji-eun ini sebelumnya telah merilis single terbaru berjudul "Lilac" pada 25 Maret 2021. "Lilac" merupakan salah satu lagu di album ke-5 nya.
"LILAC" sendiri menggambarkan bagaimana konsep tersebut adalah salam atau perpisahan (Kata Korea yang dia gunakan, "insa" (인사), berarti keduanya).
