tirto.id - Sejumlah soal UAS atau PAS Bahasa Inggris kelas 8 semester 1 Kurikulum Merdeka bisa digunakan sebagai bahan belajar untuk menghadapi Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) atau kerap juga disebut UAS. Ujian tersebut diperkirakan berlangsung pada awal bulan Desember 2023.
PAS sebagai ujian akhir semester bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran yang telah berjalan selama satu semester. Usai pelaksanaan PAS, guru akan mengelola nilai untuk disusun dalam rapor hasil pembelajaran semester satu.
Seluruh mata pelajaran yang telah dipelajari selama satu semester akan diujikan dalam PAS. Beberapa di antaranya, mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris, matematika, PAI, kimia, fisika, sejarah, dan sebagainya.
Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu materi yang diujikan pada siswa kelas 8 SMP terdiri atas beberapa bab yang disusun dengan pendekatan Genre-Based Approach. Tujuannya untuk mendorong siswa mengembangkan kemampuan dari semula berbahasa lisan menuju bahasa tulis.
Daftar Materi Bahasa Inggris Kelas 8 SMP/MTs
Materi bahasa Inggris kelas 8 SMP terdiri atas beberapa bab. Berdasarkan buku modul ajar berjudul Bahasa Inggris “When English Rings a Bell”, materi semester satu terdiri atas enam bab, sedangkan pada semester dua terdiri atas tujuh bab.
