tirto.id - Ajang Blue Dragon Film Awards ke-42 tahun 2021 baru saja digelar pada Jumat (26/11/2021) di Seoul, Korea Selatan. Acara ini diselenggarakan untuk mengapresiasi insan perfilman Korea Selatan pada tahun 2020-2021.
Blue Dragon Film Awards 2021 dipandu langsung oleh aktris Kim Hye Soo dan aktor Yoo Yeon Seok. Hal itu menjadikan keduanya pemandu acara ini selama 4 tahun berturut-turut, yaitu sejak tahun 2018.
Adapun, Kim Hye Soo sendriri sudah menjadi pemandu acara ini sejak 1993, dan ini menjadi tahun ke-28 di mana ia didapuk sebagai MC.
Dalam ajang ini, Escape to Mogadishu yang menjadi film box office berhasil memenangkan total lima trofi, termasuk Best Picture, Best Director, dan Best Supporting Actor (Heo Joon Ho).
Kemudian, The Book of Fish, sebuah film yang mendapat pujian dari para kritikus juga memenangkan lima piala, termasuk Best Actor (Sol Kyung Gu), Best Screenplay, dan Best Cinematography and Lighting.
Di sisi lain, film Three Sisters membawa pulang piala untuk Best Actress (Moon So Ri) dan Best Supporting Actress (Kim Sun Young).
Selain itu, Goo Kyo Hwan, Song Joong Ki, YoonA Girls’ Generation’s, Jeon Yeo Been berhasil memenangkan piala Popular Star Award.
