“Hal ini menjadikan habit bagi orang Malaysia dalam mendengarkan musik, mereka akhirnya terbiasa mendengarkan musik Indonesia,” tutur Mulyadi.
Penyebab lain Negeri Jiran begitu akrab dengan lagu Indonesia pada masa lalu yaitu koleksi piringan hitam yang dimiliki Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) pernah dipinjamkan ke negeri itu. Lagu-lagu dalam piringan hitam diperdengarkan secara luas.
Sekarang industri musik Indonesia bertambah maju. Para musisi yang menginduk pada perusahaan label rekaman hingga mereka yang mengambil jalur indie label, sama-sama menelurkan karya. Hal ini menjadikan dunia musik Indonesia makin kaya dan mendapat tempat tersendiri bagi penikmat musik di mana saja.
