Kompetisi esports bergengsi game Mobile Legends musim kedelapan akan dimulai Jumat (13/8/2021) hari ini. Kick off MPL S8 mempertandingkan partai Rebellion Genflix (RBG) vs Bigetron Alpha (BTR) pada pukul 15.00 WIB, dilanjutkan duel Geek Fam ID (GEEK) vs RRQ Hoshi (RRQ) pada pukul 17.30 WIB.
Setelah regular season berakhir, MPL S8 akan ada jeda lantaran babak play off baru bakal digelar pada 8-10 Oktober 2021. Soal prize pool, kompetisi ini berhadiah total 300 ribu dolar AS atau setara dengan Rp4,5 miliar.
