tirto.id - MAMA Awards 2023 akhirnya merilis daftar nominasi untuk tahun ini. Penggemar juga mulai bisa melakukan pre-voting hingga 30 Oktober 2023 dan memberikan suara untuk musisi KPop favoritnya.
Ajang penghargaan musik tahunan ini rencananya akan digelar selama dua hari pada 28-29 November 2023 di Tokyo Dome, Jepang.
Mengenai kriteria, Mnet telah mengumumkan bahwa musik yang memenuhi syarat hanyalah musik yang dirilis dalam rentang waktu 22 Oktober 2022 hingga 30 September 2023.
Dikutip dari Soompi, kriteria pemenang akan ditentukan oleh penilaian sebagai berikut:
- Artist of the Year dan Artist Category Awards: 20 persen evaluasi juri, 40 persen jumlah download/streaming lagu (25 persen Korea + 15 persen global), 40 persen penjualan album fisik.
- Song of the Year dan Genre Category Awards: 20 persen evaluasi dari juri, 80 persen jumlah download/streaming lagu (50 persen Korea + 30 persen global)
- Album of the Year: 20 persen evaluasi dari juri, 80 persen jumlah penjualan album fisik
- Worldwide Icon of the Year dan Worldwide Fans’ Choice: 70 persen Mnet Plus votes, 30 persen Spotify votes
- Best Music Video: 20 persen evaluasi dari juri, 80 persen music video
Pre-voting untuk Worldwide Fans’ Choice telah dibuka mulai dari 19 Oktober hingga 30 Oktober 2023 untuk mengeliminasi 30 musisi. Sedangkan 20 musisi teratas akan masuk ke voting putaran final yang digelar pada 6-20 November 2023.
