Daftar Pemenang MAMA 2019: BTS Raih 4 Daesang Semua Kategori

tirto.id - Ajang penghargaan Mnet Asian Music Awards 2019 (MAMA) digelar tadi malam, Rabu (4/12/2019) di Nagoya Dome, Jepang.

MAMA 2019 kembali dipandu oleh aktor Park Bo Gum, yang sebelumnya telah menjadi pembawa acara ini selama dua tahun berturut-turut sejak 2017.

MAMA adalah acara musik tahunan di Korea Selatan yang diselenggarakan oleh salah satu stasiun televisi Korea, yakni Mnet. Semua artis yang dinominasikan di MAMA adalah mereka yang telah merilis album dan juga lagu dari 1 November 2018 hingga 23 Oktober 2019.

Sementara itu, Boy group BTS berhasil menyabet penghargaan Daesang (Grand Prize) untuk semua kategori, yakni Artist of the Year, Album of the Year melalui album Map of the Soul: Persona, kemudian Song of the Year dengan lagu “Boy With Luv”, dan Worldwide Icon of the Year.

Penghargaan untuk Best New Artist berhasil dimenangkan oleh TXT dan ITZY. Selain itu, sejumlah grup K-Pop yang berhasil memenangkan kategori Worldwide Fan’s Choice Top 10 adalah BTS, GOT7, SEVENTEEN, TXT, TWICE, ATEEZ, MONSTA X, BLACKPINK, EXO dan X1.

Sementara itu, perhelatan MAMA tahun ini dimeriahkan oleh sejumlah artis Korea Selatan, di antaranya, Park Jin Young, MAMAMOO, ATEEZ, ITZY, ONEUS, TXT, WayV, BTS, GOT7, TWICE, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, Chungha, hingga penyanyi asal Inggris, Dua Lipa.
