tirto.id - Setelah Golden Globe Awards 2021 mengumumkan nominasinya pada Rabu (3/2) kemarin, kini giliran Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) yang mengumumkan nominasinya. Ajang tahunan SAG Awards 2021 akan diumumkan pemenangnya pada 4 April 2021.
Melansir Variety, daftar nominasi SAG Awards diumumkan pada Kamis (4/2) oleh Lily Collins dan Daveed Diggs di halaman Instagram SAG Awards.
Dalam nominasi Film Terbaik, film karya Spike Lee, Da 5 Bloods masuk dalam daftar. Film yang dibintangi oleh Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors dan Clarke Peters ini sebelumnya sama sekali tidak masuk dalam nominasi Golden Globe Awards 2021.
Selain Da 5 Blood, dalam nominasi ini juga menghadirkan film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, One Night in Miami dan film karya Aaron Sorkin The Trial of the Chicago 7 serta film dari A24, Minari.
Dalam gelaran SAG Awards ke-27 ini, mendiang aktor Chadwick Boseman masuk dalam dua nominasi yaitu nominasi aktor utama dalam film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom dan aktor pendukung untuk Da 5 Bloods.
Sementara itu, Anya Taylor-Joy masuk dalam nominasi Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries untuk perannya sebagai Beth Harmon dalam The Queen’s Gambit.
Serial Ozark dan The Crown mendominasi nominasi Aktris Terbaik dalam serial drama. Sedangkan nominasi Aktris Utama dalam film, tak jauh beda dengan nominasi Golden Globe Awards, diisi oleh Frances McDormand (Nomadland), Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman) Viola Davis (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom) dan Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman).
Hanya Amy Adams yang tidak masuk nominasi Golden Globe, tapi namanya masuk dalam SAG untuk nominasi Aktris Utama melalui film Hillbilly Elegy.
SAG Award biasanya digelar di bulan Januari, namun akibat pandemi Covid-19, gelaran ini bergeser beberapa bulan menjadi 4 April. Upacara tersebut akan disiarkan di TNT dan TBS pada pukul 6 sore waktu setempat.
