tirto.id - Album berbahasa Jepang BTS Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~ resmi dirilis hari ini, Rabu (15/7/2020). Album Jepang keempat idol K-pop (dan album full-length kedua 2020) ini menampilkan versi Jepang dari lagu-lagu hit BTS.
Diwartakan Billboard, lagu-lagu dalam Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~ beberapa telah muncul dalam album Love Yourself: Answer (2018), Map of the Soul: Persona (2019), dan Map of the Soul: 7 (2020), seperti "Boy With Luv", "Black Swan", "Fake Love", dan "Dionysus".
Album ini juga menyertakan singel pra-rilis "Stay Gold" dan tiga lagu asli Jepang lainnya: "Intro: Calling," "Your Eyes Tell" dan "Outro: The Journey."
Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~ juga dirilis berdekatan dengan peringatan ulang tahun ketujuh dari fandom BTS di Korea, yang dikenal sebagai ARMY.
