Up sendiri merupakan title track untuk mini album kedua Kep1er yang bertajuk Doublast. Karya baru Kep1er ini pun berhasil mengobati rasa rindu penggemar setelah mini album pertama mereka First Impact yang rilis sekitar lima bulan yang lalu.

Video klip lagu Up hingga berita ini ditulis telah ditonton sebanyak 14 juta kali usai dirilis pada 20 Juni 2022.

Melalui lagu ini penggemar akan merasakan penampilan Huening Bahiyyih dkk yang tampak berbeda dengan penampilan mereka yang cenderung berkarisma di music video WA DA DA.

Di music video lagu Up ini para member justru menampilkan penampilan yang lebih segar dan colorful. Hal ini sesuai dengan konsep comeback mereka sebagai penyebar kebahagiaan di Kep1er Island.

"Kami menonjolkan karisma kami di Wa Da Da, tapi kali ini kami akan menampilkan penampilan yang lebih menyegarkan," jelas sang leader Yujin, melansir dari laman Korea Times.

Lagu ini pun menjadi lagu musim panas yang berbeda dengan lagu K-pop lainnya dengan genrenya yang cenderung funk house dan soulful house.

Secara khusus lagu ini merupakan lagu yang dapat memberikan semangat untuk melakukan segala apapun yang kita inginkan.
