tirto.id - WayV merilis album mini baru bertajuk Kick Back yang mendapatkan debut pada 10 Maret 2021 pukul 20.00 waktu Korea.
Album mini ketiga grup idola asal Cina itu, membawakan enam lagu baru di dalamnya. Lagu Kick Back menjadi lagu utamanya.
Seperti dilansir laman SM Entertainment, Kick Back adalah lagu dance bergenre R&B progresif. Lagu ini memadukan vokal yang energik dan lantunan rap santai.
Lirik Kick Back, yang juga dibuat versi Korea, menceritakan penggambaran masa depan dengan pesan positif.
Lagu lainnya, seperti Action Figure, dikemas denga seuara hooked brass. Lagu All for Love merupakan lagu bergenre trap R&B yang menyiratkan pada suasana malam penuh sensual.
Sementara tembang Good Time merupakan lagu pop yang memadukan sisi beat hiphop atraktif dengan piano retro.
Sejak peluncurannya, album mini Kick Back menduduki peringkat pertama di QQ Music Cina, tangga album Korea, dan iTunes d 25 negara.
