tirto.id - Boyband Korea Selatan NCT Dream resmi merilis video musik lagu berjudul “Candy” pada 16 Desember 2022. Dikutip dari Soompi, dijelaskan bahwa lagu ini terdapat dalam mini album spesial musim dingin mereka yang berjudul sama.
Lagu “Candy” merupakan remake dari lagu berjudul “HOT” yang dirilis tahun 1996 silam. Melalui NCT Dream, lagu ini dibuat ulang dengan aransemen yang segar dan menampilkan gaya mereka sendiri.
Hingga hari ini, video musik lagu “Candy” masih menjadi trending nomor 1 di YouTube untuk kategori musik dan telah diputar lebih dari 31 juta kali.
Boyband yang debut pada tahun 2016 ini beranggotakan 7 orang, yaitu Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, dan Jisung. NCT Dream merupakan sub-unit ketiga dari supergrup NCT.
Mereka debut lewat lagu “Chewing Gum” dan telah merilis beberapa lagu lain seperti “Glitch Mode”, “Hot Sauce”, dan “We Go Up”. Bahkan album Glitch Mode dan remakenya “Beatbox” tahun ini terjual 3,61 juta keping.
