Dikutip dari situs resmi SM Entertainment, Rabu (19/5/2021), lagu “Advice” merupakan bagian dari mini album TAEMIN yang ke-3, yakni If I Could Tell You. Album baru ini sekaligus kado terakhir darinya kepada penggemar sebelum menjalani wajib militer pada 31 Mei mendatang.
“Advice” adalah lagu bergenre R&B yang menyelaraskan melodi piano minor dan paduan suara pada beat trap. Kemampuan rap TAEMIN yang diekspresikan sebagai “diriku” menggandakan pesonanya.
Dalam mini album ini penggemar akan menjumpai harmoni vokal dari TAEMIN dan Taeyeon (Girls 'Generation) melalui lagu pop dance “Light”. Sebanyak lima lagu disertakan dalam mini album ini termasuk “Strings”, “SAD KIDS”, dan “2 KIDS”.
