tirto.id - BTS merilis versi remix single terbarunya "Butter" yang mereka sebut versi "Hotter", lengkap dengan video musik pada Jumat (28/5/2021) siang ini atau tepat seminggu setelah peluncuran versi awal.
Versi baru yang di Youtube bertajuk "BTS (방탄소년단) 'Butter' Official MV (Hotter Remix)" ini lebih condong ke genre electro dance yang menawarkan pesona berbeda dari lagu aslinya yang ceria dan bersemangat, menurut Big Hit Music seperti dikutip Yonhap, Jumat (28/5/2021).
Sebelumnya MV (music video) "Butter" pada hari ini Jumat (21/5/2021) pukul 13.00 waktu Korea Selatan atau 11.00 WIB. Sebelum merilis MV ini, BTS juga melakukan countdown (hitung mundur) bersama ARMY melalui YouTube.
"Butter" adalah lagu pop dance yang diproduksi oleh Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, dan Ron Perry, salah satu member BTS, RM juga berpartisipasi dalam lagu tersebut.
'Butter' Official MV (Hotter Remix) berdurasi 3:15 menit dan menghadirkan para personel BTS yang lebih sering mendekat ke arah kamera, memperlihatkan wajah mereka dengan berbagai ekpresi, sekaligus tarian mengikuti irama lagu.
"Butter" adalah single berbahasa Inggris kedua BTS setelah "Dynamite". Single ini di Spotify mendapatkan 20,9 juta streaming pada hari pertama peluncurannya, mencatatkan sejarah baru dalam Spotify.
Sementara itu, di laman YouTube, video musik "Butter" mengumpulkan 108,2 juta penayangan dalam 24 jam pertama peluncurannya, melebihi jumlah "Dynamite" dengan 101,1 juta penayangan.
Video musik single baru ini juga tercatat lebih dari 3,9 juta peak, menjadiknya pemutaran perdana video musik YouTube terbesar dan menggantikan rekor grup sebelumnya melalui "Dynamite" dengan total 3 juta, dikutip Antara.
Pada Jumat ini, video musik "Butter" mencatatkan lebih dari 238 juta penayangan dengan 15 juta kali ditonton di YouTube.
