Seperti dilansir Soompi, pada 20 Maret 2023, YG Entertainment secara resmi mengumumkan bahwa album single solo Jisoo ME telah dipesan lebih dari 950.000 pada periode pra-penjualan. Dengan angka tersebut, Jisoo disebut telah mencetak rekor baru untuk jumlah pesanan pra-penjualan tertinggi yang pernah dicapai penyanyi solo wanita dalam sejarah.

Berdasarkan akun YouTube resmi BLACKPINK, setelah tiga jam rilis, lagu “Flower” pun langsung menduduki trending nomor satu untuk kategori musik. Dalam waktu singkat, musik video lagu tersebut berhasil ditonton hingga 11 juta penonton.

Jisoo merupakan penyanyi kelahiran Kota Gunpo pada 3 Januari 1995. Saat berusia 16 tahun, tepatnya pada 2011, Jisoo bergabung dengan YG Entertainment sebagai trainee. Meski belum debut, saat itu Jisoo sudah membintangi sejumlah iklan.

Selanjutnya empat tahun kemudian, pada Agustus 2016, Jisoo resmi bergabung dan debut sebagai anggota BLACKPINK. Pada grup tersebut, Jisoo ditempatkan sebagai lead vocal.

Bersama BLACKPINK, Jisoo telah menghasilkan enam album mulai dari album Square One (2016) hingga The Album (2020).

Selain berkarier di industri musik Korea Selatan, Jisoo juga terjun di dunia akting. Jisoo tercatat telah membintangi empat drama Korea sejak 2015. Yang terakhir, pada 2021, Jisoo tampil menjadi pemeran utama dalam drakor Snowdrop yang ditayangkan JTBC Disney+ Hotstar.
