tirto.id - Acara penghargaan Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2020 digelar pada Minggu (6/12/2020) pukul 14.00 WIB dengan dipandu oleh aktor Song Joong Ki.
MAMA 2020 tahun ini dihadiri oleh sederet idol ternama Korea seperti BTS, TWICE, MAMAMOO, TREASURE, SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, GOT7, Stray Kids, dan masih banyak lagi.
Dalam acara tersebut, BTS berhasil memboyong semua 4 Daesang sekaligus, yaitu Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Map of the Soul: 7), Song of the Year (“Dynamite”), dan Worldwide Icon of the Year.
Sementara, TREASURE dan Weeekly berhasil memenangkan penghargaan Best New Artist.
TREASURE juga memenangkan penghargaan Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10 bersama BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, MAMAMOO, SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, GOT7, TXT, dan NCT.
Tak hanya itu, musikus asal Indonesia, Rizky Febian juga berhasil memenangkan penghargaan untuk kategori Best Asian Artist.
Kemudian, solois Tiara Andini berhasil memenangkan kategori Best New Asian Artist, dan Yovie Widianto juga tuturt memboyong piala Best Composer of the Year.
